Mindful Athlete
Training the Mind for Confidence, Focus & Performance
A 60-minute interactive mindfulness workshop designed specifically for female athletes.
Athletes Train Their Bodies.
What About Their Minds?
Athletes spend countless hours training their bodies—but far less time learning what to do with their minds when pressure, frustration, anxiety, or self-doubt show up.
Mindful Athlete introduces young female athletes to practical mindfulness and mental-performance skills they can use before, during, and after competition. Athletes learn how to stay present under pressure, recover after mistakes, and develop a healthier relationship with performance.
What Athletes Will Learn
Focus & Attention
Stay connected to what's happening now rather than getting caught in distractions.
Confidence & Self-Talk

Performance Under Pressure
Recognize and regulate the body's response to stress.
Emotional Regulation
Navigate nerves, frustration, disappointment, and competitive intensity.
Resilience After Mistakes

Take-Home Tools
Isabel Stovsky, MSSA, LISW, PMH-C is a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, former competitive athlete and coach, and Cleveland native. She played field hockey and lacrosse throughout high school and at Bates College, where she was also a member of the equestrian team, and later coached field hockey and lacrosse at the middle- and high-school levels.
Her experience as both an athlete and coach gives her a firsthand understanding of the pressure, expectations, setbacks, self-doubt, and identity that can accompany competitive sports. Today, Isabel brings together her background in athletics, psychotherapy, mindfulness, and yoga to help young female athletes develop skills that support confidence, resilience, performance, and well-being—both in sport and beyond.
